Editor-in-Chief | Carmen Caro Almodóvar, DScPAS, PA-C is a fellowship-trained emergency medicine Physician Associate and serves as Director-at-Large for AAMPR. A proud Boricua, her work focuses on advancing the PA profession in Puerto Rico through advocacy, communication, and improved access to care.

Co-Editor | Faisal Kamal, DMSc, PA-C, RCS is a practicing Physician Associate in cardiology in Puerto Rico and a co-editor of the AAMPR newsletter. He is an AAMPR scholarship recipient with a background in diagnostic medical sonography and a strong commitment to rebuilding Puerto Rico’s healthcare system through clinical care and professional advocacy.
